A Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) is a form of statement written by the student visa applicant which shows that the student wants to stay and study in Australia temporarily. In the GTE, visa applicants need to include their study experiences, current employment (if any), future employment opportunities (if received), ties to the home country (tie with family members, friends) and the economic situation in the home country.
Before applying for a visa, students need to go through a medical check-up or radiological check-up with a doctor (the doctor must be approved by the Australian immigration department) to prove they have good health. The document received from the doctor needs to be submitted with the application.
